OUR MISSION
At Jaguars Academy, we recognise rugby as a "late-developing sport", with many players only reaching their full potential later in their careers. Too often, players who don’t make it into a Premiership Academy or don’t get offered Premiership contracts at U18 are overlooked, missing the opportunity to develop into top professionals. Our mission is to offer these players the same high-level support, coaching, and mentorship - both on and off the field - that top academies provide, helping them reach their full potential.

ACADEMY
A comprehensive and individualised coaching and mentoring programme focussing on providing the tools and support needed for both personal growth and athletic excellence. All Academy players will be given a coach mentor who will guide and support you as you unlock your full potential.
Professional coaching and full remote strength and conditioning programming to help achieve your playing ambitions. This talent development programme is designed for players who are eager to take their game to the next level and are looking to progress onto the current academy pathways.

Edd Rhodes
I’m a Level 3 Rugby Coach with a 1st Class Honours degree in Sports Coaching, and I’ve worked with players at all levels, from academy to professional rugby. I’ve coached at Northampton Saints Academy and was Head Coach of Bedfordshire’s Development Player Programme (DPP), where I’ve helped aspiring players reach their potential on the field. As the former Director of Rugby at Samuel Whitbread Academy, I’ve supported many students in securing university placements, scholarships, and professional rugby contracts. I’ve also been Head Coach of a professional Men’s 7s team, which gave me even more experience in coaching at the highest level. With a strong network of contacts across universities and pro rugby, I’m here to help players take their next step, whether that’s playing at a higher level, earning a scholarship, or even going pro.
